ABOUT TENNESSEE PREPARATORY ACADEMY

President of Tennessee Preparatory Academy's Welcome,

Tennessee Preparatory Academy is a dream that has been in the making for over 10 years. It has taken lots of blood, sweat, tears and sacrifice to get to this point. I couldn't be prouder of everyone that is on my team and of all the students past, present and future that have given Tennessee Prep a chance to make their dreams come true.

In high school, I gave basketball my all. I studied the game and spent countless hours in the gym perfecting my craft. Even at a young age, I understood the importance of investing in myself and my goals. Unfortunately, I was rejected from the high school basketball team year in and year out due to politics and situations that were out of my control. This missed opportunity fueled my drive to be successful even when other people counted me out. This is the very premise that launched Tennessee Prep. I wanted students from all over the world, that were counted out to have an opportunity to make something of their perceived failures or missed opportunities. Fortunately for me, I did get the opportunity to play collegiate basketball at the community college and division II levels.

At Tennessee Preparatory Academy we understand that every student is unique with various backgrounds. Our experienced faculty is committed to embracing the inherent qualities of each student. We are a strong, ambitious and faithful organization, where strong bonds are formed between teacher and coach. During their time at Tennessee Prep, our students stretch themselves academically, push beyond their boundaries mentally,  build friendships that last a lifetime, and develop a strong sense of self.

Our graduates go on to play college basketball at the level that matches their hard work and capabilities. It is here that they use the tools taught at Tennessee Prep to establish themselves as leaders, young men/women of substance, and collaborative learners.

I invite you to explore the outstanding educational opportunities and top tier athletic experiences Tennessee Preparatory Academy  has to offer our students in grades 9-12 and Post Graduate. If you have any questions, or would like to visit us, do not hesitate to email us or call us at 901-504-5206.

Thank you for your interest in Tennessee Preparatory Academy

Fondly,

Harold Rayford
